FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How far in advance do I need to begin dress shopping?

We recommend that you begin shopping for your dress at least 8-12 months before your wedding, as it can take up to 6 months for your gown to arrive.  We also suggest giving yourself an extra 8-10 weeks for alterations leading up to your wedding date.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Ivory Bridal operates on a by appointment basis only.  By booking an appointment, we can focus on providing a personal and exceptional bridal experience. If you need an appointment later than what you see available on our scheduler, please send an email to kacy@ivorybridalboutique.com, or call the boutique at 559.712.0669 and we will do our best to schedule you accordingly.  Looking for inspiration?  Check out our Instagram page.

How long is an appointment?

Our private one-on-one bridal appointments are an hour and a half.  Should you need more than an hour and a half, feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call.

What size are your samples?

Each sample gown varies by designer.  The majority of our samples are a size 8-22 but your custom gown can be ordered up to a size 30 with most designers.  We will pin you in each gown so you'll get the best idea of what your gown will look like in your size.

How many people can I bring to my appointment?

We can comfortably seat about 5 people max during your appointment. If you wish to bring more than 5 guests, please send us an email or give us a call.

Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?

We would recommend bringing any under garments you feel most comfortable in.  Most girls will bring a strapless bra/nipple covers, spanx, etc. (although these items are not needed) Also bring shoes closest to the height you plan on wearing on your wedding day.  You should wear light makeup and bring a hair clip/tie to prevent your hair from getting in the way.

Do you offer any payment options on orders/purchases?

Yes, we do offer payment options to make your experience as seamless as possible. We've partnered with Affirm, so you can split your purchase into manageable monthly payments. If you would like more details, or help getting started, we are happy to walk you through it before/during your appointment.

What is the start-to-finish process of purchasing my dress from Ivory Bridal Boutique?

Your initial appointment will include an hour and a half private fitting in our boutique.  If you find "the one" we will take your measurements and order your dress in the size closest to those measurements.  At that point, we take a deposit of 75%.  In about 4-6 months when the gown is ready, we will notify you and you can do two things - either come back in for a follow up appointment to pick up your dress and to do any other final styling (veil, accessories, etc.) OR we can ship it to you directly for an extra fee.  Your made to order gown will most likely still require alterations, so be sure to give yourself enough time to meet with a seamstress and do any final tweaks and hemming.  Along this journey we are happy to answer any and all questions you may have so please feel free to reach out.

Do your offer/include alterations?

Alterations will be a separate cost from the dress.  We will fit you as close to your size as possible to ensure minimal alterations (not including any special changes).  Though we don’t have in-house alterations, we work closely with a handful of local seamstresses who will take the best care of you once you pick up your dress.

Returns/Exchanges

Since all gowns are made to order they are Final Sale.  Ivory Bridal does not accept any exchanges or refunds once you have purchased your dress and/or accessories.
